Oxfam – Ethical Trade

Oxfam’s Ethical Trade team wanted to influence more companies, more efficiently to meet society’s expecations within business constraints. They asked Ethicore to help and so this is what we did:

  • Identified Oxfam’s gap in the market, using market analysis.
  • Explored options for Oxfam’s strategic approach and agreed a direction.
  • Developed relationships with potential partners for events.

The Ethical Trade Advisory Service at Oxfam is professional and positive partner for business. They have developed a very targeted approach over the last two years.  You can read their advice and follow their presentation here.

“Oxfam’s Ethical Trade team provides advice on managing labour issues in global supply chains so as to ensure approaches are of real benefit to vulnerable workers. Ethicore has helped us develop a strategy to influence forward-thinking companies who are struggling to meet societal expectations within business constraints. We have particularly valued Rachael’s ability to cut through complexity, identify key concepts and facilitate fresh thinking about solutions.”
